Florida Lifeguards Rescue 500 From Rip Currents

Rip currents have endangered central Floridian beachgoers trying to escape the hot summer sun and escalating temperatures. In Volusia County, lifeguards have rescued over 500 swimmers from the unsafe currents, according to Orlando News.
